The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1999. This photograph from the Smithsonian Institution Archives shows Alexander Calder's Two Discs, 1965, installed at the home of Joseph H. Hirshhorn in Greenwich, Connecticut, before the work was sent to Washington for the opening of the Hirshhorn Museum in 1974.
