DESCRIPTIVE ENTRY
The bulk of these records document the activities of the Education
Department from 1981 through 1992. They include materials describing the
intern and fellowship program as well as programs held by the Department, such
as lectures, seminars, courses, performances, package trips, tours, and
workshops. These materials include program research files; budgets; schedules;
correspondence and contracts with instructors or performers; package trip
planning information; lists of participants and correspondence with
participants; and copies of participant handouts and readings.
The
records also include pamphlets written about specific activities or about
educational programs for Museum exhibitions, and the Department's "Program"
calendars from October 1976 through Fall 1993.
