These records consist of the subject files of Nancy J. Bechtol, Director, Horticulture Services Division (1995-2002) and document her work as director and her relationship with other offices and museums throughout the Smithsonian Institution, her involvement in special events, her association with professional associations, and her working relationship with her staff. Some records predate Bechtol's tenure as Director. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, reports, brochures, pamphlets, and architectural drawings.This accession is restricted for 15 years.
