Wow - what an ordeal it must have been for women to ice skate in those days - their bulky outfits with the cumbersome skirts look so poorly suited for skating! Fashion has changed quite a lot in the last century

Old photos like this never stop to amuse me... All of those people have lived their lives and now they are dead. Even their children and probably their grand children are now gone. Yet, we get to see them.
